On Wednesday, April 7 border guards of the Riga Board of the State Border Guard helped a child who was lost.
On Wednesday morning, while driving a car in Riga, Matīsa Street, the border guards noticed that a child of about a year and a half without shoes and outerwear was moving along the road.
The border guards immediately stopped their car, put the child in it, pulled on a jacket because the child looked frozen, and called a municipal police officer to find out the circumstances. After the arrival of the police and handing the child over to the municipal police officers, the border guards went on to perform their duties.
