On Monday the 1st of April, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 33 offenders at external borders and within the country.

20 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

3 persons with forged documents were detected

At the Grebņeva Border Control Point1 citizen of Kazakhstan leaving Latvia by truck with trailer, who presented forged Bulgarian International Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. While at the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine entering Latvia, who presented forged Lithuanian International Vehicle Insurance Policy, and 1 citizen of Uzbekistan entering Latvia by truck with trailer, who presented forged Uzbekistan Vehicle Registration Certificate, were detected. The forged documents were seized, the parsons were subject to administrative liability.

1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Tajikistan was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The person was returned to the exit country.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 4 foreigners

At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 2 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 non-citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 non-citizen of Latvia (female), whose passport was not valid for travel outside the Schengen area, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 1 citizen of Lithuania.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 12 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Belarus, 3 - of Ukraine, 3 - of Latvia, 1 - of China and 1 - of Russia.
