On Monday the 2nd of April, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 23 offenders at external borders and within the country.

At the Vientuļi and the Silene Border Control Points 1 citizen of Kazakhstan and 1 citizen of Belarus were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visas or residence permits. The both persons were returned to the countries of exit.At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of notarially certified agreement of the parents for his independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The young boy was refused exit from Latvia.At the Terehova, the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Russia and 1 citizen of Belarus, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 citizen of Lithuania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 7 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Kirgizstan, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of Lithuania.
