On Friday the 5th of April, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 31 offenders at external borders and within the country.
15 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 citizen of Belarus with forged documents was detectedAt the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus leaving Latvia by truck with trailer, who presented forged Bulgarian International Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. The forged document was seized. The person was subject to administrative liability.
4 foreigner were refused entry into LatviaAt the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has already resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period; as well as 2 citizens of Georgia were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners have a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreignersAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of China, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 3 citizens of Lithuania and 1 - of Ukraine.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 12 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Latvia, 2 - of Ukraine, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Kazakhstan and 1 - of Serbia.
