At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, entered from Denmark, and who is on the police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1994 was detained and handed over to State Police officers.At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, while at the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen area. Persons were returned to the countries of exit.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 8 persons - 3 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Japan and 1 -of Latvia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 13 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Belarus, 3 - of Latvia, 2 - of Lithuania, 2 - of Ukrain, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of Kyrgyzstan.
