At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point, during person profiling at the restricted terminal area, 1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1999 was detained and handed over to State Police officers. At the Terehova and Silene Border Control Point 2 citizens of Tajikistan and 1 - of Belarus were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, at the Paternieki Border Control Point 2 citizens of Ukrain were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country, at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Georgia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states, while at the Terehova and at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Moldova and 1 - of Ukrain were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners have a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. Persons were returned to the countries of exit.At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), was detected. Person subject to administrative liability.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 5 persons - 2 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of Ukrain.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 15 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Latvia, 2 -of Germany, 2 - of Lithuania, 2 -of Belarus, 1 - of Serbia, 1 -of Poland and 1 - of Estonia.
