On Monday the 12th of April, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 63 offenders at external borders and within the country.
4 trespassers were detected at external borders:
- 2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia
At the Silene Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, and 1 citizen of Ukrain was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner violated Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 360 "Epidemiological precautions to control the spread of Covid - 19 infection". Persons were returned to the exit countries.
- Exit from the country denied to one Latvian citizen
At "Riga" Airport Border Control Point detected one minor Latvian citizen, who had not have notarized consent, at least from one parent, to leave the country. Person are denied to exit from Latvia.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 51 persons – 21 citizens of Latvia, 7 – of Russia, 7 – of Ukrain, 5 – of Estonia, 5 – of Romania, 3 – of Lithuania, 2 – of Poland and 1 – of Germany.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 8 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 3 citizens of Latvia, 2 – of Belarus, 1 – of Lithuania, 1 – of Turkey and 1 – of Ukrain.
