On Thursday, the 25th of April 2019 State Border Guard's officials detected 24 offender at external borders and within country.
13 trespassers were detected at the external borders, inter alia:
Entry into the Republic of Latvia has been refused for five persons.At the border control point in the Riga International Airport entry into territory of the Republic of Latvia has been refused for 5 citizens of Ukraine, as foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry and were not into possession of sufficient funds to visit the Schengen area. All persons returned to the country of departure.
One person detected violating residence conditions.At the border control point in the Riga International Airport detected 1 citizen of Moldova who violated condition of the residence in Schengen area. Foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. Person has been subjected to administrative liability.
Departure of the country refused to two citizens of Latvia.At the border control point "Pāternieki" detected one underage citizen of Latvia without second parent's notarized power of attorney for traveling abroad and one underage citizen without any permission from parents to travel abroad alone. Departure of the Republic of Latvia for both persons has been denied.
Performing immigration control activities within the country violation of entry or residence conditions into the Republic of Latvia have been detected for 2 citizens of Lithuania, 1 citizens of Uzbekistan, 1 citizen of Kazakhstan and 1 citizen of Latvia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and water transport the State Border Guard of Latvia subjected to administrative liability 6 persons - 2 citizens of Latvia, 1 citizen of Ukraine, 1 citizen of Russia, 1 citizen of Belarus and 1 citizen of France.
