On Tuesday the 27th of April, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 51 offenders at external borders and within the country.
4 trespassers were detected at external borders, including
- 1 person with forged documents was detected
At “Riga” Airport Border control point 1 citizen of Latvia entered Latvia with forged Covid-19 test was detected . Administrative proceedings have been initiated against the person.
- 1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia
At the “Riga”Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukrain was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country as well as the foreigner violated Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 360 "Epidemiological precautions to control the spread of Covid - 19 infection". Person was returned to the exit country.
- Violations of resident conditions was detected to 1 foreigner
At the Silene Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (was not in position of valid visa or residence permits), was detected. Person was subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 41 persons – 17 citizens of Ukrain, 5 – of Estonia, 3 – of Uzbekistan, 3 – of Latvia, 3 – of Kosova, 3 – of Poland, 2 – of Finland, 1 – of Lithuania, 1 – of Russia, 1 – of Kazahstan, 1 – of Turkey and 1 – of Hungary.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 6 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 3 citizens of Latvia, 2 -of Belarus and 1 – of Kazahstan.
