On Tuesday, the 30th of April 2019 State Border Guard's officials detected 40 offenders at external borders and within country.

One non-citizen of the Republic of Latvia in wanted list was detainedDuring performing profiling of passengers in the border control point in the Riga International Airport one non-citizen of the Republic of Latvia at the moment in wanted list has been detected. A man born in 1980 was detained and handed over to State Police officials.
Entry into the Republic of Latvia has been refused for six personsAt the border control points "Grebņeva", "Terehova" and in the Riga International Airport entry into territory of the Republic of Latvia has been refused for 1 citizen of Kirgizstan and 2 citizens of Ukraine. Foreigners weren't holders of valid visa or residence permit. Also entry into territory of the Republic of Latvia has been refused for 3 other citizens of Ukraine, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry and were not into possession of sufficient funds to visit the Schengen area. All persons returned to the country of departure.
One person detected violating residence conditionsAt border control point in the Riga International Airport detected 1 citizen of China who exceeded in visa allowed period of stay into the Republic of Latvia. Person has been subjected to administrative liability.
Performing immigration control activities within the country violation of entry or residence condition into the Republic of Latvia have been detected for 2 citizens of Lithuania, 1 citizen of Latvia and 1 citizen of Russia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and water transport the State Border Guard of Latvia subjected to administrative liability 12 persons - 3 citizens of Belarus, 3 citizens of Latvia, 2 citizens of Russia, 2 citizens of Lithuania and 1 citizen of Ukraine, 1 citizen of Serbia, 1 citizen of Uzbekistan.
