On Tuesday the 6th of April, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 32 offenders at external borders and within the country.

5 trespassers were detected at external borders:

  • 1 person with forged documents was detected

During immigration control, in Valka 1 stateless person of Estonia entered Latvia with forged Covid-19 test. The person was subject to administrative liability.

  • 1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia

At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner violated Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 360 "Epidemiological precautions to control the spread of Covid - 19 infection". The person was returned to the exit country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 22 persons – 6 citizens of Ukrain, 5 – of Latvia, 4 – of Lithuania, 2 – of Russia, 2 – of Georgia, 1 – of Iraq, 1 – of Finland and 1 – of Germany.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 5 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 3 citizens of Russia and 2 – of Belarus.
