On Friday the 2nd of August, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 35 offenders at external borders and within the country.
18 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
2 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country as well as he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 6 foreignersAt the Zilupe and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 3 citizens of Ukraine, 1 - of Georgia and 2 - of Uzbekistan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.
1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the countryAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 3 persons - 2 citizens of Russia and 1 -of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 14 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Lithuania, 3 - of Belarus, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Estonia, 1 - of Korea and 1 - of Uzbekistan.
