On Monday the 6th of August, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 40 offenders at external borders and within the country.
15 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
7 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Israel was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid travel document, 2 citizens of Ukraine, 2 - of Belarus and 1 - of Moldova were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country, as well as the foreigners were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states and 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 1 foreignerAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Tajikistan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 8 persons - 3 citizens of Lithuania 2 - of Russia, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Belarus and 1 - of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 17 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 6 citizens of Latvia, 4 - of Russia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Sweden, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Austria and 1 - of Estonia.
