On Tuesday the 6th of August, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 50 offenders at external borders and within the country.

30 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 person, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

In the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 non-citizen of Latvia leaving Riga for Istanbul, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1989, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

4 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Grebņeva and the Pāternieki Border Control Points 2 citizens of Russia and 1 - of Belarus were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Moldova was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 7 foreigners

At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 3 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Belarus, 1 - of Moldova, 1 - of India and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

3 citizens of Latvia were refused exit from the country

At the Zilupe Border Control Point 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of at least one parent's notarially certified authorisation for his independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Latvia (females), who were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, were detected. The persons were refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 3 persons - 1 citizen of Lithuania, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 17 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 6 citizens of Belarus, 5 - of Russia, 3 - of Latvia, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Estonia.
