On Friday, 10 August, officials of the State Border Guard at the external borders and within the country detected 41 offender.

At the external borders 17 offenders were detected, including:

Entry into Latvia was denied to 2 foreigners

At Zilupes Border Control Point entry to the country was denied to 2 citizens of Russia as the foreigners did not have valid visa or residence permit. Persons were returned to the country of departure.

Exit from the country denied to 1 non-citizen of Latvia

At Terehovas Border Control Point detected 1 non- citizen of Latvia, whose passport was not valid for travel outside the territory of Schengen states. Person was denied to leave the country.

Immigration control measures inside the country, violations of entry or stay regulations were detected to 5 persons - 3 citizens of Lithuania and 2 of Estonia.

Within the framework of vehicles and vessels operation, the State Border Guard officials detected offenses committed by 19 persons - 7 citizens of Belorussia, 4 of Russia, 1 of Lithuania, 3 of Latvia, 2 of Uzbekistan, 1 of Estonia and 1 of Austria.
