On Tuesday the 11th of August, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 35 offenders at external borders and within the country.
12 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
• 1 citizen of Ukraine with forged documents was detected
At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine entered the country by truck, who used a forged Ukrainian Driving License, was detected. Criminal proceedings were initiated for the use of forged documents. The man was applied non-custodial security measure.
• 1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detained
At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia entered the country from London, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man was detained and handed over to the State Police Officers.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 8 persons - 4 citizens of Lithuania, 3 - of Estonia and 1 - of Uzbekistan.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 15 persons were subjected to administrative liability (or were refused to cross the border) by officials of the State Boarder Guard - 6 citizens of Estonia, 3 - of Russia, 3 - of Ukraine, 2 - of Belarus and 1 - of Latvia.
