On Thursday the 22nd of August, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 35 offenders at external borders and within the country.

14 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 foreigner were refused entry into Latvia

At the Grebņeva and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of India were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus, 1 - of Turkey and 1 - of Lebanon, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 8 persons - 4 citizens of Moldova, 3 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Lithuania.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 13 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Ukraine, 2 - Estonia, 1 - of Poland, 1 - of Belarus, 1 - of Macedonia and 1 - of Uzbekistan.
