On Saturday the 1st of December, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 24 offenders at external borders and within the country.
11 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 citizen of Russia with forged documents was detectedAt the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, leaving Latvia by car, was detained for use of a forged Russian Vehicle Registration Certificate. The person was subject to administrative liability.
At the Pāternieki, the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 3 citizens of Ukraine and 1 - of Kirgizstan were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states; and 1 citizen - of Moldova was refused entry into the country, as the foreigners have a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreignersAt the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Moldova, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 6 persons - 3 citizens of Lithuania, 2 - of Estonia and 1- of Russia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Estonia, 2 - of Latvia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Moldova and 1 - of Lithuania.
