On Monday the 2nd of December, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 16 offenders at external borders and within the country.
9 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
2 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kazakhstan was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Azerbaijan was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 1 foreignerAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), was detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the citizen of Ukraine was not commenced.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 7 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Azerbaijan, 1 - of German 1 - of Belarus.
