On Tuesday the 3rd of December, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 26 offenders at external borders and within the country.
14 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
6 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Kazakhstan were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 3 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. While at the Zilupe Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into the country, as the woman has already resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreignersAt the Grebņeva and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 3 citizens of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by two persons was not commenced, the third person was subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 1 citizen of Estonia, 1 - of Iraq, 1 - of India and 1 - of Ukraine.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 8 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Latvia, Russia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Moldova, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Russia.
