On Wednesday the 5th of December, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 36 offenders at external borders and within the country.
13 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detainedAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, entered Riga from London, who is on the police wanted list was detected. The man, born in 1987, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.
1 foreigner was refused entry into LatviaAt the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Tajikistan was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The person was returned to the exit country.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreignersAt the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Uzbekistan and 2 - of Georgia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 13 persons - 5 citizens of Ukraine, 3 - of Russia, 3 - of Estonia, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1- of Lithuania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Latvia, Ukraine, 2 - of Estonia, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Belarus, 1 - of Azerbaijan, 1- of Ukraine and 1 - of Slovakia.
