On Thursday the 5th of December, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 29 offenders at external borders and within the country.
14 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 foreigner with forged documents was detectedAt the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kazakhstan leaving Latvia by truck with trailer, who presented forged Latvian International Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.
2 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Georgia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and the foreigner was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states, as well as 1 citizen of USA (woman) was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner has already resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreignersAt the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus and 1 - of Moldova, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 2 persons - 1 citizen of Lithuania and 1 - of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 13 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Belarus, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Azerbaijan, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Estonia.
