On Thursday the 6th of December, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 40 offenders at external borders and within the country.

17 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Egypt were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 7 foreigners

At the Grebņeva, the Terehova, the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 5 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Kirgizstan and 1 - of China, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 4 citizens of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 9 persons - 4 citizens of Estonia, 3 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Latvia and 1 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 14 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Lithuania, 3 - of Latvia, 3 - of Russia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Moldova, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of German.
