On Saturday the 8th of December, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 28 offenders at external borders and within the country.

16 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 citizen of Albania with forged documents was detected

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Albania, leaving Latvia, who presented forged passport of Lithuanian citizen, was detected. Criminal proceedings were initiated for use of forged documents. The man was placed in the State Police temporary place of detention.

2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Georgia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners have a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 1 foreigners

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Serbia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 2 persons - 1 citizen of Egypt and 1 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Lithuania, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Moldova, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1- of Kazakhstan.
