On Thursday the 10th of December, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 8 offenders at external borders and within the country.
6 trespassers were detected at external borders:
- Entry into Latvia wasdenied to 1 foreigner
At Paternieki Border Control Point entry to Latvia was denied to 1 citizen of Russia, as the foreigner did not possess valid visa or residential permit. Person was returned to the country of departure.
- Violations of resident conditions was detected to 2 foreigners
At the Grebneva and Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia and 1 – of Belarus, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Persons were subject to administrative liability.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 2 citizens of Belarus were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard.
