On Friday the 14th of December, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 34 offenders at external borders and within the country.

16 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 citizens of Latvia, who are on the police wanted list, were detained

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Latvia, one entered from London and another - from Dublin, who are on the police wanted list were detected. The men, born in 1994 and 1989, were detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

3 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova Border Control Point 3 citizens of Russia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The persons were returned to the exit country.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 5 foreigners

At the Silene, the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus, 2 - of Russia and 2 - of Georgia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia (female), who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 5 persons - 3 citizens of Lithuania, 1 - of India and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 13 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Belarus, 3 - of Ukraine, 3 - of Latvia, 2 - of Kazakhstan and 1- of Russia.
