On Monday the 21th of December, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 46 offenders at external borders and within the country.
4 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
- 2 persons with forged documents were detected
At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia leaving Latvia and in Kraslava district, who presented forged driving license, were detected. The criminal procedures were initiated for the use of forged documents. Within the criminal procedures the forged documents were seized.
- 1 foreigner was refused to entry Latvia
At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused to entry Latvia because person could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry and stay. Person was returned to the country of departure.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 28 persons – 11 citizens of Latvia, 7 – of Lithuania, 5 – of Russia, 2 – of Poland, 1 – of Rumania, 1 – of Germany and 1 – of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 14 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 10 citizens of Belarus, 1 – of Poland, 1 – of Uzbekistan, 1 – of Latvia and 1 – of Estonia.
