On Friday the 20th of December, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 29 offenders at external borders and within the country.

20 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 foreigner with forged documents was detected

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kazakhstan, entered Latvia with forged border stamp in his passport, was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.

5 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Myanmar were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit; as well as 1 citizen of Kirgizstan was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. While at the Terehova Border Control Point 2 citizens of Moldova were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners have a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kirgizstan, 1 - of Tajikistan and 1 - of Georgia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, whose passport was not valid for travel, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 2 persons - 1 stateless person and 1 citizen of Latvia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 7 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Russia, of Latvia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Ukraine, and 1 - of German.
