Events at the state border and within the country - December 23, 2019

On Monday the 23rd of December, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 30 offenders at external borders and within the country.

12 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

At the Terehova, the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Belarus, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Turkey, 2 - of Tajikistan and 1 - of Uzbekistan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the citizen of Uzbekistan was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia (female), who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 6 persons - 3 citizens of Estonia, 2 - of Russia and 1 - of Azerbaijan.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 12 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Belarus, 2 - of Latvia, 2 - of Azerbaijan and 1 - of Ukraine.
