On Friday the 27th of December, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 26 offenders at external borders and within the country.

14 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova and the Pāternieki Border Control Points 2 citizens of Russia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The persons were returned to the exit country.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 6 foreigners

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Turkey, 2 - of Russia, 1 - of Georgia and 2 - of Uzbekistan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 2 citizens of Lithuania, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Uzbekistan.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 8 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Moldova and 1 - of Estonia.
