On Friday the 4th of December, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 18 offenders at external borders and within the country.
8 trespassers were detected at external borders including:
- 2 citizens of Latvia, who are on the police wanted list, were detained
At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Latvia, who are on the police wanted list, were detected. The men, born in 1984 and 1992, were detained and handed over to the State Police officers.
- Violations of resident conditions was detected to 1 foreigner
At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Argentina, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay specified in the visa-free regime), was detected. Person was subject to administrative liability.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 5 citizens of Belarus, 3 – of Latvia, 1 – of Lithuania and 1 – of Kazahstan.
