On Sunday the 6th of December, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 8 offenders at external borders and within the country.
5 trespassers were detected at external borders:
- 1 citizen of Belarus with forged documets was detected
At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus, who entered Latvia with a forged Belarusian technical inspection sticker, was deteced. The person was called to administrative responsibility and returned to the country of exit.
- 2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia
At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia and 1 – of Belarus were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners violated Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 360 "Epidemiological precautions to control the spread of Covid - 19 infection". The persons were returned to the exit countries.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 1 citizen of Latvia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 2 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard - 1 citizen of Latvia and 1 – of Kazahstan.
