On Saturday the 3rd of February, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 30 offenders at external borders and within the country.

At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. The person was returned to the exit country.At the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Belarus and 1 of USA, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visas or residence permits, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The record-keeping regarding administrative violations, committed by the citizen of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 minor Latvian citizens, who was not in possession of notarially certified agreement at least one of the parents for his independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The person was refused exit from Latvia.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 12 persons - 7 citizens of Lithuania, 4 - of Estonia and 1 - stateless person of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Belarus, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Kirgizstan, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - stateless person of Estonia.
