Events at the state border and within the country - February 04, 2020

On Tuesday the 4th of February, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 22 offenders at external borders and within the country.

6 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine, leaving Latvia with forged Lithuanian International Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. The forged document was seized. The person was subject to administrative liability and he with the vehicle was allowed to continue a journey.

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Latvia - 1 leaving the country for Doncaster and another one - for London, who are both on the Police wanted list, were detected. The men were detained and handed over to the officers of the "Riga" Airport Police Station of the Riga Board.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 9 persons - 2 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of Uzbekistan.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 7 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Latvia, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Moldova, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Belarus and 1 - of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
