On Wednesday the 5th of February, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 28 offenders at external borders and within the country.
16 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
4 persons with forged documents were detectedAt the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Tajikistan, entered Latvia with forged Lithuanian passport was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability and was returned to the exit country. At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kazakhstan, leaving Latvia by truck with trailer, with forged German Vehicle Insurance Policies, was detected. The forged documents were seized. The person was subject to administrative liability. At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kazakhstan with forged Kazakhstan Driving Licence was detected. The criminal procedure was initiated for the use of forged documents. Within the criminal procedure the forged document was seized. The person was placed into the State Police short-term detention facilities. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, entered Latvia with a forged border stamp in his passport, was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability and was returned to the exit country.
1 foreigner was refused entry into LatviaAt the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Azerbaijan was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The person was returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreignersAt the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Azerbaijan and 1 - of Kazakhstan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 3 persons - 1 citizen of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Russia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Latvia, 2 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Mongolia and 1 - of Belarus.
