On Friday the 7th of February, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 40 offenders at external borders and within the country.

18 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 foreigner with forged documents was detected

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, leaving Latvia by truck with trailer, with forged Vehicle Insurance Policies, was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.

7 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Zilupe Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia, 2 - of Kirgizstan, 1 - of Ukraine and 2 - of Uzbekistan were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 4 foreigners

At the Terehova, the Pāternieki, the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Tajikistan, 2 of Belarus and 1 - of Uzbekistan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected.
Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the citizen of Uzbekistan was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 12 persons - 4 citizens of Lithuania, 3 - of Belarus, 2 - of Azerbaijan, 1 - of Estonia, 1 - of Latvia and 1 - of Rumania.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Belarus, 2 - of Ukraine, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Estonia.
