Events at the state border and within the country - February 10, 2018

On Saturday the 10th of February, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 28 offenders at external borders and within the country.

12 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Armenia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. The person was returned to the exit countries.At the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus and 1 citizen of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visas or residence permits, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 6 citizens of Lithuania and 1 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Lithuania, 2 - of Estonia, 1 - of Belgium, 1 - of Latvia and 1 - of Russia.
