At the Ventspils Port 1 citizen of Lithuania entered from Nynashamn, who is on the police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1979, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.At the Terehova Border Control Point and at the Indra Border Control Point 2 citizens of Tajikistan, 1 - of Azerbaijan and 1 - of Belarus were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visas or residence permits. The persons were returned to the exit countries.At the Terehova, Silene and Airport "Riga" Border Control Point 1 citizen of Tajikistan, 1 - of Ukrain and 1 - of Bolivia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (residence after expiry of residence permit indicated in visa, absence of valid visa or residence permit) in Schengen countries. Proceeding against citizen of Ukrain has not been commenced, the other persons were subjected to administrative liability.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 8 persons - 4 citizens of Estonia 2 - Lithuania, and 2 - of Russia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 13 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Lithuania, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Belarus, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Ukrain, 1 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Moldova and 1 - of Estonia.
