On Tuesday the 2nd of February, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 54 offenders at external borders and within the country.
6 trespassers were detected at external borders, including
- Entry into Latvia was denied to 1 foreigner
In Riga harbor entry to Latvia was denied to 1 Russian citizen (sailor), as the foreigner had interdiction to enter and reside in the territory of Schengen states. In regards to the sailor the affirmation from the ship captain was received, that the man, during the ship's stay in Riga harbor, will not leave the vessel.
- Conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen area was violated by 3 foreigners
At Terehova and Paternieki Border Control Point 2 citizens of Russia and 1 – of Belars, who have violated conditions of residence of the Schengen area (were not in a possession of valid visa or residence permit) were detected. Persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 42 persons – 12 citizens of Ukrain, 11 – of Latvia, 7 – of Romania, 4 – of Russia, 4 – Lithuania, 2 – of Poland, 1 – of Estonia and 1 -of Netherland.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 6 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 2 citizens of Latvia, 1 – of Croatia, 1 – of Latvia and 1 – of Ukrain.
