On Monday the 25th of February, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 33 offenders at external borders and within the country.

17 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

4 citizens of Uzbekistan with forged documents were detected

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 4 citizens of Uzbekistan with forged Greek residence permit were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

2 persons, who are on the police wanted list, were detained

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia entered from London, who is on the police wanted list, was detected; as well as 1 non-citizen of Latvia who is on the police wanted list, was detected while carrying out passenger profiling of Munich-Riga flight. The men, born in 1990 and 1969, were detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and she was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The person was returned to the exit country.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Ukraine, 1 - of Tajikistan and 1 - of Uzbekistan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 4 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Estonia, 1 - of Georgia and 1 - of Lithuania.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Belarus, 2 - of Estonia, 2 - of Latvia and 1 - of Lithuania.
