At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 3 citizens of Latvia, entered from London and who is on the police wanted list, were detected. The men, born in 1980 and 1978, and woman, born in 1999, were detained and handed over to the State Police officers.At the Paternieki Border Control Point 2 citizens of Ukrain and 1 - of Moldova were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states and the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. The persons were returned to the countries of exit.At the Grebneva, Terehova and Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Belarus, who violated the conditions of residence (residence after expiry of residence permit indicated in visa, absence of valid visa or residence permit) in Schengen countries. Persons were subjected to administrative liability.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 5 persons - 3 citizens of Russia and 2 - of Lithuania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Lithuania, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Belarus, 1 - of Kazahstan and 1 - of Serbia.
