On Tuesday the 9th of February, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 44 offenders at external borders and within the country.
4 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
- 1 citizen of Lithuania, who are on the police wanted list, was detained
While doing immigration control on highway in Daugavpils 1 citizen of Lithuania, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1967, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.
- Conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen area was violated by 1 foreigner
At Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizens of Kyrgizstan, who has violated conditions of residence of the Schengen area (was not in a possession of valid visa or residence permit) was detected. Person was subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 34 persons – 9 citizens of Latvia, 6 – of Ukrain, 4 – of Lithuania, 4 – of Romania, 3 – of Estonia, 2 – of Russia, 2 – of Germany, 2 – of Slovakia and 2 – of Poland.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 6 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 3 citizens of Latvia, 2 – of Belarus and 1 – of Russia.
