At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, entered Latvia from London and who is on the police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1998, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.
At the Terehova Border Control Point 2 citizens of Russia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visas or residence permits. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. The persons were returned to the countries of exit.
At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia (woman), who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from Latvia.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 4 citizens of Lithuania and 3 - of Russia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 22 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 12 citizens of Russia, 6 - of Belarus, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Poland and 1 - of Ukraine
