On Friday the 3rd of January, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 26 offenders at external borders and within the country.

9 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 citizen of Russia with forged documents was detected

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia (woman), entered Latvia from Moscow with forged Schengen border stamp in her passport, was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.

1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The person was returned to the exit country.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 4 foreigners

At the Zilupe, the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Tajikistan and 1 - of Georgia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 2 persons - 1 citizen of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Lithuania.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 15 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 7 citizens of Russia, 4 - of Belarus, 2 - of Estonia, 1 - of Moldova and 1 - of Latvia.
