At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia entered from Copenhagen, who is on the police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1992, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kirgizstan was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The person was returned to the exit country.At the Terehova, the Grebņeva and the Pāternieki Border Control Points 2 citizens of Russia and 1 citizen of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visas or residence permits, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 minor Latvian citizen, who was not in possession of notarially certified agreement of the second parent for her independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The person was refused exit from Latvia.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 6 persons - 4 citizens of Lithuania, 1 - of Estonia and 1 Estonian stateless person.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 12 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Ukraine, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Slovakia and 1 - of Belarus.
