On Monday the 11th of January, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 22 offenders at external borders and within the country.
6 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

At the “Riga” Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Iraq, exited Latvia with forged Greece ID card was detected. The criminal procedure was initiated for the use of forged documents. While performing immigration control within the country, in Jelgava region 1 citizen of Uzbekistan, exited Latvia with forged Uzbekistan driving licence. The criminal procedure was initiated for the use of forged documents. The person was placed into the State Police short-term detention facilities.

At the "Riga” Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia entering from Netherland, who was on the Police's wanted list was detected. Men born in 1982 was detained and handed over to officials of State Police.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 14 persons – 4 citizens of Lithuania, 4 – of Latvia, 4 – of Estonia, 1 – of Turkey and 1 – of Russia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 2 citizens of Belarus were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard.
