On Monday the 13th of January, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 39 offenders at external borders and within the country.

25 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

10 foreigners with forged documents were detected

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 10 citizens of Russia, leaving Latvia with forged border stamps in their passports, were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

While carrying out the profiling of passengers at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1994, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

3 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Uzbekistan were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit; as well as 1 citizen of Georgia was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 5 foreigners

At the Grebņeva and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 4 citizens of Russia and 1 - of Uzbekistan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 5 persons - 2 citizens of Lithuania, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Moldova, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of Lithuania.
