At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 non-citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1993, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The person was returned to the exit country.At the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia, 1 - of Belarus and 1 - of Georgia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visas or residence permits, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the citizens of Georgia and Russia was not commenced, the citizen of Belarus was subject to administrative liability.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 11 persons - 5 citizens of Lithuania, 3 - of Russia, 2 - of Latvia and 1 - of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 13 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Latvia, 3 - of Belarus, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Kirgizstan, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Estonia.
