On Friday the 19th of January, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 40 offenders at external borders and within the country.
12 trespassers were detected at external borders, including: the violations of the conditions of residence, committed by 1 foreigner (female), were detected. At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit), was detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the citizen of Russia was not commenced.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 6 citizens of Lithuania and 1 - of Ukraine.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 21 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 7 citizens of Belarus, 5 - of Lithuania, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Latvia, 2 - of Estonia, 1 - of Ireland, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Poland.
