On Wednesday the 20th of January, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 26 offenders at external borders and within the country.
4 trespassers were detected at external borders, including entry into Latvia were denied to 2 foreigners. At the Paternieki Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period and 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry to Latvi, as the foreigner did not possess valid visa or residential permit. Persons were returned to the country of exit.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 19 persons – 4 citizens Lithuania, 4 – of Latvia, 3 – of Poland, 3 – of Uzbekistan, 2 – of Czez , 1 – of Estonia, 1 – of Romania and 1 – of Ukrain.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 3 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 1 citizen of Russia, 1 – of Belarus and 1 – of Kazahstan.
